Children at Monkmoor celebrated The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with singing of the national anthem, bubbles from a tea pot and a visit from the Shrewsbury Mayor. 

Prior to the tea-party children’s literacy and numeracy skills were developed through following instructional text and weighing out of the ingredients to make biscuits.
