Over the past two weeks secondary KS4 students have been taking inspiration from artist Damien Hirst and created their own spin paintings using a salad spinner!

They had such a great time experimenting with colour combinations, volume of paint and velocity of spin to create their paintings. 

It was fantastic to see them all so engaged in the project, taking it in turns with equipment, being experimental and encouraging of each other. The end results are brilliant and have really brightened up the corridors.
