A KS3 student at the Oswestry Centre was able to show off their ability to sort numbers into odd and even. They did this using physical resources and used a whiteboard marker to divide the desk surface into two areas where they could then place number cards into the two categories. They learnt to identify whether a number is odd or even by looking at the last digit in the number to see whether it ended in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8, and 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.
