Burgerman and Branding

KS3 and year 10 students created their own drinks can labels based on the style of Jon Burgerman.

This half term KS3 and year 10 art students have been looking at the work of Graphic Designer Jon Burgerman.

Students came up with their own range of cartoon characters in response to his work and then investigated his collaboration with Pepsi. We discussed the importance of maintaining ‘brand identity’, understanding target audience, ensuring that the product is easily identifiable on a supermarket shelf, and keeping a clear logo.

Students then designed their labels and wrapped them around their finished can. Adding Burgerman fun to their label.
