KS3 students from the Oswestry Centre visited the Llanymynech Heritage Area to search for hidden Geocache caches. They did this by following co-ordinates on a digital map to pinpoint the rough location of each cache, before then searching for the exact location of the hidden cache. These are a sealed weatherproof container, in which there is usually something of interest placed inside, along with a way to record when and who found the cache. We found all hidden caches, with some being easy to find, others required serious hunting skills!
