How is honey made?

In Science, children at Harlescott have been learning about plant growth, flowers and pollination.

Hedgerow Honey came to talk to the children about the life cycle of a bee and their importance in the process of pollination. Many hives are provided to farmers to reduce the use of pesticides in the environment. The children looked at a real bee hive and learnt about how they are made. They also found out about making honey and wax products.
