The children found out facts about worms in literacy. Finding out how they move, what they look like, how they breath and what they eat. They found out that worms love dead plants, leaves and food waste including apple cores, banana skin and peelings.  The worms make amazing compost from the decomposing foods and help new plants to grow giving us our lovely healthy foods!
