We cut up different foods to see if we could find the seeds. Lychees had one big seed but kiwis had lots of little seeds.

If they had seeds, they were fruits. If not, they were vegetables.

We found out that we often eat the stem, roots or leaves of a plant and this is a vegetable!

We grew cress to see the parts of the plant for ourselves! Cress is a vegetable.
