Students in the 6th day provision group at Harlescott had a fun-packed day exploring Carding Mill Valley and ticking off some more activities from the 50 things to do before you are 11 and 3/4.

To start with students went for a walk up to the reservoir and ate a picnic outdoors before having a go at skimming stones. After that, we were able to go pond dipping in the stream and take our finds to the 'lab' to have a closer look. Those who wanted to were able to roll down a big hill before playing 'Pooh sticks' and splashing in the stream.
