Mocktail or ice cream sundae anyone?
Last week was Play in Healthcare week and here at Princess Royal we had a day of special activities which felt like a party to celebrate the wonderful work of our Play Specialists.
The Play Specialists put on fun events and activities all year round to make a stay in hospital more bearable. They can also help patients prepare for and manage medical procedures that could seem daunting.
Our day of special events not only included building your own bear, nail painting, temporary tattoos and sensory activities but also a snack bar, ice cream sundae tasting and the opportunity to make your own mocktail.
Who knew there was so much fun to be had in hospital!
