Origami Crafting

Key Stage 4 students at Bridgnorth Centre have recently had the opportunity to take a little time out and explore the Art of Origami while chatting informally to staff.
Having originally been devised for the decoration of temples and shrines and derived from ori (folding) and kami (paper), Origami has become a popular, relaxing, and creative art form worldwide. At TMBSS it is used as a fun way to explore geometry, a focus activity when students need to take a moment of calm or regulate their emotions, or a vehicle to help students who need to develop their focus & concentration.
