This term pupils at Harlescott have had daily swimming lessons from Embrace.  Staff from Embrace spent a week building the marquee and filling the portable 10m x 5.5m filtered and heated swimming pool before we started the lessons.  Each day, every class had a 30-minute lesson from Hannah, a specialist swimming teacher.  

Some of our pupils had never been swimming before and lots have found swimming challenging previously.  It has been absolutely amazing to see their confidence increase and the progress they have all made.  Children in our Sixth Day Provision group have also had the opportunity to develop their life-saving skills!
