The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!

Oswestry Students Investigate the world of AI this 'Safer Internet Day'.
KS3 and KS4 learnt about AI in all aspects of their lessons on Tuesday as part of a special themed 'Safer Internet Day' whilst working towards two AQA unit award qualifications.
In PSHE, Miss Clay got students to think about the helpful and harmful aspects of AI using realistic case studies. Mrs. Lacey used the topic of AI in Art to consider image-based AI and the ethical implications for creativity. Mrs. Styles worked with students during Citizenship to look at practical uses for AI and how the world we live in nowadays has integrated AI into everything from the medical world to admin streamlining. Finally, Mrs. Camber worked with students in English to debate the pros and cons of AI and to write up their thoughts in a piece of discursive writing.
Over lunch-time, students and staff took part in a quiz and were further able to discuss the topic in more depth.
