Montgomery Castle, Town Walls and Church

Students from the Oswestry Centre visited Montgomery to explore features of its history.

Five students went on an outdoor educational trip to Montgomery.  We visited the castle where students spent time talking and socialising.  They learnt about “The Robbers Grave” and had a look inside the Church.  All the pupils were respectful and looked around the different parts of the Church, such as the altar, the stained-glass window and the font.  On returning to the centre, we stopped off at Welshpool airport and were lucky enough to have a look in the Welsh Air Ambulance with the opportunity to sit in the back.
