Continuing their history topic on Victorian Britain, the students visited Blists Hill to gain some experience of what it might have been like to live during that time. They exchanged money in the bank, visited a variety of different shops, explored Victorian homes and enjoyed a ride on a horse and cart. The students also talked to historians about the challenges faced during Victorian times, including living by candlelight, and took part in a candle-dipping workshop.
