As part of their learning about pizza making in Design and Technology, the students visited Pizza Express in Shrewsbury, where the chefs taught them how to make the perfect margherita pizza. They began by learning which ingredients they needed and where those ingredients came from. After an expert demonstration, they kneaded and shaped their dough, added toppings and waited patiently for their creations to cook. The students especially enjoyed taking their pizzas back to HEC to have for lunch.
