This term, the KS2 students at HEC have been learning about rocks in our science lessons. So far, the children have learnt about different types of rocks, analysing and describing each rock. They have then learnt about the three types of rocks – igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary – before demonstrating how each type of rock is formed using chocolate. They have really enjoyed the topic so far, especially getting to eat their rock creations!
