Bridgnorth centre are doing their bit for the environment by attracting insects to their garden with a meadow of wildflowers planted by a student.  We were lucky enough to see a peacock butterfly feeding from the flowers on a cool morning before the heatwave kicks in as well as several bumblebees.

Butterflies are vital to ecosystems as key pollinators, foundational food sources for birds and other wildlife, and as "bioindicators". Their presence signals a healthy environment, while their sensitivity to climate change helps scientists track the impacts of habitat loss and environmental.
