Haughmond Hike

Pupils in the sixth day provision group at Harlescott spent the morning exploring Haughmond Hill.

Pupils took a short trip to Haughmond Hill to explore the woods and visit the viewpoint.  They were able to tick off some of the National Trust's '50 things to do before you are 11 and three quarters' as part of their enrichment work.  These included getting to know a tree, clambering over rocks, taking a friend on a nature adventure and finding some funky fungi!  We also had a look at the quarry, stomped in muddy puddles and spotted a friendly robin.
