KS3 and KS4 students at LEC made their way to Church Stretton via the train to hunt for art and craft treasure at Scrappies.

Scrappies is a charity that supports children’s art education and provides salvaged materials. They work alongside schools whilst also providing workshops.

Year 11 students made some unexpected finds that they could use for their ‘FOUND’ GCSE exam pieces.  

After their visit, the students enjoyed lunch in the park which was accompanied by beautiful sunny weather.

The trip was also a perfect opportunity for students to practise key life skills by taking public transportation.
