Some of the children from Harlescott Education Centre enjoyed a visit to the Gurdwara in Telford to learn all about the Sikh faith. They learnt all about Sikh beliefs, had the opportunity to participate in some meditation and shared a meal in the Langar. On arrival, the children covered their hair as a sign of respect, took off their shoes and washed their hands. A few of the children were also given the opportunity to try on a turban. The children had a brilliant time and were quiet, polite and respectful at the Gurdwara.
