Students at Harlescott had to dig deep this week on a very warm day for our annual sports day.  Everybody competed in the running, egg and spoon, shuttle run and javelin events.  Everyone was in a team and was awarded points for where they finished.  The winning teams were awarded medals, as were the students who demonstrated good sportsmanship by supporting the other children.  Afterwards, everyone had a cold treat for snack to help cope with the heat.
