This week we have had an Art and English collaboration for Remembrance.

In English lessons students studied the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ and then used the lines from the poem as inspiration to make mixed media WW1 soldiers. Incorporating words from the poem and the poppy symbol.

Bridgnorth students used bottle tops, watercolour, metallic paper and acrylic paint, Sundorne used bottle tops, acrylic paint and tissue paper, Hook a Gate used Tissue paper, coloured paper and watercolour, Oswestry used watercolour, acrylic paint and ready mixed paint.

They look fantastic on the wall.
